ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After writing & recording a variety of songs for 3 albums over 25 years (1990-2015), it’s a given you’ll have some extra tunes that don’t make a record for one reason or another. Either the song didn’t fit the musical genre of a particular album...or a song idea wasn’t turning out the way you expected…or you simply didn’t get around to finishing the song. For these reasons and more, Alan Friedman started to amass more than an album’s worth of tunes he had written and recorded with some great musician friends, and deemed it a shame if they remained unheard. So, here it is, the unintended, unappreciated, unofficial record #4 of Alan Friedman and friends…“B-Sides, Basement Tapes & Randumb Tunes”. Hope you enjoy these musical misfits with some of greatest musicians and famed music makers like Bernard Fowler (The Rolling Stones), Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), Jonathan Mover (Joe Satriani, GTR, Aretha Franklin), Walfredo Reyes (Chicago, Steve Winwood, Lindsey Buckingham), and Robbie Lablanc (Blanc Faces, Fury, Find Me).
