Album Notes
The recording was made in 1982 on a 16 tracks 2” recorder that was used before to record “Exile on Main Street”.
The master tape burned. A tape cassette was found & restaured.
This is the unique cd of the giant (2m06) Alan Victor and his 1982’s band the Victims.

“I was in Bordeaux June 1980 for about a year. Then I went to LA for 6 months. Then back in Bordeaux in 1982 for 6 months for the Alan Victor & the Victims brief adventure. After that I was to Charlottesville and then I came back to London. I lived in London from 1983-88 when I came to San Francisco and I'm still here.”
Between 1978 and 1980,Luke was in the band Fàshiön. Fàshiön toured both the USA and UK as opening band for The Police, did a UK club tour with a then unknown band from Ireland called U2, opened for  B52'S on their first ever UK tour, had a new band called Duran Duran open shows for them.
Fàshiön also played gigs with: Alternative TV, Billy Idol, Brent Ford And The Nylons, Brian James Brains, Chas And Dave, Chelsea, Dangerous Girls, Dansette Damage, Delta 5, Dry Rib, Gang Of Four, Ha-Ha Germs, Hazel O'connor, Ian Dury, Inner Circle, John Cale, John Cooper Clarke, Joy Division, Medium Medium, Moon Martin, Neon Hearts, Patti Smith, Richard Jobson, Robert Fripp, Squeeze, Steel Pulse, Steve Hillage, SVT (Jack Cassady from Jefferson Airplane), The Cramps, The Cure , The Damned, The Mekons, The Meteors, The Photos, The Ramones, The Reds, The Skids, The Specials, The Stop, The Stranglers, The The, The Tubes, Toyah Wilcox, UB40, And Wilko Johnson. 

Original Fàshiön singer/guitarist Luke "Skyscraper" James  now lives in California.
In 2009 he wrote, recorded and released a new Fashion album, Stairway To Nowhere available through CDBaby.com.
