Eclectic Collaborations

by Aldo Buzzi

A collaboration of eclectic styles from many different influences over the course of this musical journey. This album has two other artists that helped me envision this project with two very different styles. From Straight forward rock and roll to some Tom Petty, Dylanist feeling songs and then we twist you around to some very progressive more intricate songs and sounds. As the music comes together and flows from one song into another the collaboration works extremely well and the feelings that are brought out are genuine and timeless.

Album Notes
Aldo Buzzi music comes from many influences - Pink Floyd, Genesis, Bowie, T Rex, Iggy Pop, Frank Zappa from classical to the 50's and the Rat-pack sandwiched in between, basically listened to just about everything. Aldo write's and composes music, sings, plays bass guitar, keyboards, drums and percussion. The only lessons he ever had was on the drums. Playing by ear and feeling,  if it sounds good that is what you get. In the mid late 70's Aldo co-owned a sound system company, Centour Sound in New York that also exposed him to many bands and artists from the city and Long Island. He was the production Manager (with his partner) at the famed Mudd Club and played there among many other well known clubs of the 70's and 80's in New York City and Long Island. Two distinct bands that he formed were The Lampshades and Vinyl Flesh. The Lampshades had a 45 out that was recorded at Radio City Music Hall studios in 1981. Now it's all about the music writing and playing and producing albums with different genre's - Basically having fun. So sit back and listen to Aldo Music.
