Album Notes
Originally from North Wales, singer/songwriter Aled Hughes is now located in the idyllic southern coastal town of Llantwit Major. Probably best categorised as being in the pop-folk genre, he writes songs in both English and Welsh. Some take quite a lighthearted perspective, while others deal with heavier themes. As well as composing his own material, he does renditions of Welsh standards too. He personally provides the vocals/guitar/harmonica/percussion elements, with additional support coming from Lynise Esprit (piano/keyboards/bass/drums), Jonathan Browning (harmonica) on Cefais i Sioc, I'm Tired and Suo Gan, and Richard Staines (guitar) on Suo Gan. He has been featured on BBC Radio Cymru’s Ram Jam, KKUP radio in California as well as appearing on Welsh language TV channel S4C and Bay TV Swansea.

Suo Gan Recorded in Aberogwr Studios, Ogmore By Sea, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales by Richard Staines and remixed at Earl Lane Studios by Lynise Esprit.

Yn wreiddiol o Ogledd Cymru, mae'r canwr/cyfansoddwr Aled Hughes nawr yn byw yn Llanilltud Fawr. Efallai pop-gwerin yw'r ffordd orau i gategoreiddio ei ganeuon, mae e'n ysgrifennu caneuon yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg. Mae rhai o'r caneuon yn cymryd persbectif hwylus ac eraill yn trafod themau dwys. Yn ogystal a chyfansoddi caneuon ei hun mae'n canu caneuon traddodiadol hefyd. Aled sy'n cyfrannu'r canu/gitar/harmonica/offerynnau taro gyda cefnogaeth ychwanegol gan Lynise Esprit (piano/allweddi/bas/drymiau), Jonathan Browning (harmonica) ar Cefais i Sioc, I'm Tired a Suo Gan a Richard Staines (gitar) ar Suo Gan. Mae e wedi bod ar Radio Cymru, KKUP yn California , S4C a Bay TV Abertawe.

Recordiwyd Suo Gan yn Stiwdios Aberogwr, Aberogwr, Bro Morgannwg, Cymru gan Richard Staines ac ei ail gymysgu yn Stiwdio Earl Lane gan Lynise Esprit
