ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Planet Jazz Magazine writes, "An artist totally authentic within the early swing idiom, this hot-house rose takes retro to whole new level. Delightful, effervescent and highly swinging."

And here, Pangman takes Christmas to a whole new level. From a Boswell Sisters inspired romping re-arrangement of I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, to obscure 1930s fare, swinging original, and familiar chestnuts of old, this record is a delightful romp through the holidays. Her band The Alleycats are delightfully glorious throughout and especially on their New Orleans inspired version of Walking in a Winter Wonderland. Guests include vocalists Terra Hazelton and Tory Cassis.
