Album Notes
Alex Panter is the musical alter ego of the German Highland Cattle breeder Axel Potthoff.
His Debut-Album "Sunday Sessions Club" deals with love, loss, greed and life as a cattle breeder.
The 12 tracks were recorded with the multi-instrumentalists Salossi and Steve Crawford in the space of one week at home in spring 2013.
The result is a stylistic crossover between folk, country, rock and jazz.

"It's sounding great, good treatment of the instruments and vocal, some lovely playing on guitar and violin. The vibe is consistent through the album which is cool and a good collection of tracks, and lyrics that look on the world from an interesting place...."
Tom Moriarty, July 2013

"Those who take the time to discover this fine album are sure to find hints of some of the greatest songwriters of the past decades. With a doth of the cap to such greats as Dylan, Waits and Joe Strummer, Alex doesn't seek to borrow rather channel the best of their songwriting through him to create something all of his own. Whether a fan of country, blues, jazz or rock there's something for you all here."
Steve Crawford, August 2013
