Great Album
This album will take you on a nice, keep me on my toes tropical journey. It covers the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, as well as Cuba. Yes, I said it; Cuba! Listen to how Alex Torres successfully ventures into the world of Timba, as well as “Conga” which you will notice on the track, “El De La Cornetica”. With the addition of several Cuban cats, this compilation takes a real nice turn. The track “El Cuarto De Tula” infuses funk, an ingredient of Timba. Listen to how Congero Todd Fabozzi incorporates his skills on drum kit in this track as well as “El Sonido Del Barrio”.

This Album is a must have for the intelligent listener as well as the dancer. Good stuff!
