ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dead Light is the second lyrical album release by Alien Guitar Abduction, and the seventh overall.

The title is a reference to the light of stars, which originated millions if not billions of years ago. Songs on the album
share a common theme of spacy existential angst, but vary in content from simple acoustic love ballads ("Hold You") to a
folk-rock ode to the Rocky Mountain Pine Beetle ("Beetle Kill"), and psychedelic musings ("Rings of Saturn")

Dead Light was a virtual creative effort, with guest appearances by world-class musicians across the continent,
including drummers Nate Barnes, Mike Kosacek, and John O'Reilly Jr, (Fun, Jimmy Eat World) and vocalists Chris Hodges, Chris Zurich, Renald Francouer, Chandler Mogel, and Amelia Fraser.
