Album Notes
Fusing 70's power pop with 00's indie/alternative, Chapman has created a tour de force in PJ's Fantasy; a melodic, powerful, guitar-driven document, retelling the story of teenage fun and wonderment. Turn it up, roll down the windows and discover the freedom of living in PJ's Fantasy.

From the album notes:
"This album began as a fun project in the summer of 2006. Having grown up in the 70’s and feeling a connection to the music of that period, I had always wanted to write, record and release an album during that time. Unfortunately, I was too busy being a teenage boy at that time, though the fantasy never escaped me. When it came time to record the album, I began rummaging through some old cassette demos I had made in the 90’s and found that many of the songs shared a common theme, contextually and sonically. Surfacing from this excavation were experiences of growing up, falling in love, roaming the streets with friends, watching loads of TV (where all of life’s problems get solved within 30 minutes) and being soulfully tied to music, all set to a power pop backdrop (which were all some of the basic themes of 70’s pop culture). As a result, the idea was born to weave these recent discoveries into a fun, cohesive album which is what you’re hearing today. For me, PJ’s Fantasy is about holding onto your dreams, remembering the good of the past, embracing the present and moving forward, with grace, into the future."
