Lost Paradise

by All Kings Assembly

We are a true band, we create as a band, we perform as a band...WE ARE A BAND. We have spent many years writing songs together and feel that it is time for us to share our music with the world. We have never attempted to "brand" our style of music, the songs we write are as varied as our influences. We hope you enjoy our music as much as we enjoy creating it.

Album Notes
The concept for this album is dualism. We worked with two different producers who had completly contrasting approaches to the recording process. As we worked on the project we tongue in cheekly refered to working with both sides of the "force" the Jedi and the Sith. The tile of the album "Lost Paradise" originates from the lyrics of the song (Unbroken) and relates to the concept of dualism through the idea that as humans we are the architects of our own living "heavens" or "hells" as the result of our own actions or inactions.

Dualism (from the Latin word duo meaning "two") denotes a state of two parts. The term 'dualism' was originally coined to denote co-eternal binary opposition, a meaning that is preserved in metaphysical and philosophical duality discourse but has been diluted in general or common usages. Dualism can refer to moral dualism, (e.g. the conflict between good and evil), mind-body or mind-matter dualism (e.g. Cartesian Dualism) or physical dualism (e.g. the Chinese Yin and Yang).

Congrats AKA
Why am i not surprised I got hooked on the album after listening to just a few songs from the album. This band ROCKS! As usual, James Devins' vocals keep me wanting more! I have a challenge for you James....a melody dedicated to the life of Julie.
