ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
'An Irosmic Tragedy', Alms' second album, is an epic Rock symphony about Life divided in three long suites, corresponding to each one of its phases: childhood, adulthood and elderhood.

Complex and eclectic, Alms mixes different styles in his music, from Classical to Heavy Metal, as is often the case in Progressive Rock. Thick instrumentation, evoking sounds, enveloping atmospheres, powerful melodies and poetic lyrics make the listening of this album a really enjoyable journey through Life.

'An Irosmic Tragedy'... an amazing masterpiece!
After listening to 'An Irosmic Tragedy' for the third time, I can say that this is doubtlessly one of the most beautiful Progressive Rock albums I've ever heard. It's symphonic, conceptual, complex, ambitious and extremely original, so it has everything that makes a good album for me. The wonderful music, the meaningful lyrics and the disturbing atmosphere make the listening of this work a marvelous experience for anyone who's nostalgic for the 70's Prog.

I totally recommend 'An Irosmic Tragedy' to anyone who likes Genesis, Yes or ELP.
