Album Notes
Forged from a family bond, AlphaOmega, the Uncle and Nephew team legendarily known as Prevail and Neph, have highlighted their unique rhyming styles to present the world with a combination yet to be heard. The musical compositions crafted by their
primary producer Tyler Durden, of Greece’s popular Professional Sinnerz, encourage AlphaOmega to expand their collective understanding of the creative process.

Prevail is a four time Juno Award winner, gold and platinum selling artist and, co-founder of Swollen Members. Neph is the elite of Vancouver’s next generation of hungry emcee’s, whom has also been privy to the behind-the-scenes workings of the industry throughout his new, yet impactful career. Together, Prevail and Neph form AlphaOmega, a group with family ties that emerged from a creative beginning and, is foreshadowed by a promising end.

Hip Hop Canada:

"Beyond Prevail’s very influential work with Swollen Members, he’s recently started working on a collaboration project with his nephew, Neph. The two Vancouver based musicians have recently come together to create Alpha Omega, a super group under the Battleaxe shield with their first album The Concept, set to be released later this year.

You can see the family influence from Prevail to Neph in overall flow and style. Their stage presence as a whole feels natural, as if the two had been working together for years. Even as a fairly new artist, Neph’s personal voice is strong, showing glimpses into a promising young entertainer. Prevail is only getting stronger as one of Vancouver’s most prolific emcees.

Their video “Viceroy” was the first glimpse into the pair’s sound but on the heels of the release of their new project together, HipHopCanada sat down with the duo to get the goods on what’s to come for Alpha Omega"
