ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I have championed new music by American composers for many years, and have been fortunate enough to work with composers whose music I have either performed live or recorded. There are two pieces on the album which have been written for and dedicated to me,and as a result, everyone has been calling to get information on where they can buy the CD. I have also recorded two previous albums, "Black Diamonds",featuring music by African-American composers, and "Along The Western Shore",featuring works by California based composers.
The Los Angeles Times reviewed my playing with the following: "superb technique and profound musicality",and because of my extensive track record with concerts, teaching and recording, I have a wonderful following here on the West coast. I think listeners will enjoy this new album because there's something in it to please everyone. All they need is an open mind and open ear,and I think they will be pleasantly surprised.
Since I am a classical pianist,I also perform works from the standard keyboard repertoire including Bach,Mozart,Beethoven and Chopin. However, I don't want to limit myself to doing this music exclusively, and this is my primary reason for recording music which has not been heard on a broad scale.
