Someday Girl is a Songwriting duo headed by accredited songwriter and vocalist Amanda Abizaid and songwriter and musician Lindsay Gillis. Now together creating music of all genres, Amanda and Lindsay have a musical chemistry that has come together very naturally. Before completing their first CD together they placed an end theme song for a British Film set to be out December 2014. This first Volume of music consists of multiple genres from Singer Songwriter, Contemporary Pop Rock, Industrial Pop to Ambient - dub, Chill and Electronic music. Some of the tracks highlight Amanda's exotic vocal melodies from her world music on earlier albums. Their focus is create lyrical stories and music that is suitable for TV and Film, helping them to interest and reach fans around the world. Through the demand of this audience they will be performing National/International live shows through Stageit and local shows in Los Angeles showcasing their latest placements.
Credits for this album include Amanda Abizaid on vocals, lyrics and flute, Lindsay Gillis for all instruments and arrangements, Kirk Bruner on drums for "Pull Out The Guns", "Someday Girl", "Your Island", "Love Connection" and "Living My Own Life" and Santana's own Bill Ortiz on Trumpets for "Pull Out The Guns".
