Album Notes
"Not for Amanda the little-girl-lost vocals which many female singers use and she doesn’t need to shout and bawl to get her point across. Here is a singer who sounds strong, confident, sassy, sexy and in control of everything. She takes you into that smoky club, complete with red velvet seats; she’s up on that stage and you’re hanging onto every word that she sings."
Malcolm Carter, PennyBlack Music

I am a singer and songwriter based in beautiful Sydney, Australia. I have released two of my own albums so far and am now working on a series of three self-penned EPs. I describe my style as theatrical electronic pop and I just can't help writing about love because what else matters? I was lucky enough to get a couple of top ten spots in the Australian independent music chart for a couple of my early songs 'Celebrity' and 'Skin' as well as some radio and TV airplay (Nova FM Sydney, Rage on ABC TV, Rove on Channel 9, Disney Channel and loads of stations in our fabulous community radio network around Australia) for those and other tunes. I've also toured my music throughout Western Europe and Japan.

I've had a blast being a backing singer for a lot of great artists including Powderfinger (2000 ARIA Awards), Candice Alley (2001 ARIAs), Marcia Hines, James Reyne, Brian Cadd, Tim Freedman, Paul Capsis, Eric Weideman (1927), the late James Freud (The Models) and regular local and international touring with Wendy Matthews and Richard Clapton.

I also do a lot of songwriting and recording with other artists including DJs and dance music producers, which has produced some international releases.

Some people might know me as a PopTart - I worked with hundreds of fabulous singer-songwriters and bands for almost 10 years while running a weekly Sydney showcase night of the same name, promoting original female-fronted music acts. The live shows turned into PopTarts TV - a 13 episode series that ran on TVS in Sydney and C31 in Melbourne - I was host and Executive Producer. Well, you do need to have lots of fingers in lots of pies in this industry!
