Album Notes
I like to consider my music rockabilly, but I’m also influenced by folk and singer/songwriter music. My biggest inspiration is Elvis Presley, and I love the style of the Sun Studio recordings. I guess I’m just a sucker for a story of the underdog winning the day! It’s incredible to me that a group of poor boys from the South got together, sang what they felt and changed the world of music forever.

This album is called Timeless. Recently, a man I love told me I'm "timeless", and I was deeply moved. Why did it effect me in such a profound way? Timeless means classic, enduring, ageless, unfailing, eternal, everlasting. When someone looks into your eyes and sees your timelessness, they are honoring your Spirit, the part of you that can never die, your purest essence. What if we all took the time to see the things inside each other that are timeless? The world would be different. These songs are my love stories. I can't think of anything more timeless than soul love. I'm talking about unconditional love. That is, loving each other through the rollercoaster that is life, in spite of your flaws and wounds. That's courage. We have to come out of hiding and show up for each other. I'm asking you to be brave, dear hearts. I hope that when you listen to these songs, you think about loving more honestly, more purely and more recklessly.

From one of my bandmates on the album: "Playing with Amanda was like stepping into a time machine. Her stylistic choices transport both performer and listener to the time of early rock and roll’s apex.”
