Amanda Poulson's debut album "Finding Wonderland" is a combination of beloved classics and lesser known gems that weave together stories of hoping, dreaming and believing in love. From the timeless "Over the Rainbow" to a haunting version of Eden Ahbez's "Nature Boy," Amanda's expressive voice and heartfelt storytelling will stir your emotions and open your heart.

"Having worked with Amanda before, I knew the wonderfully expressive voice she possesses. As an arranger, it is not only wonderful to hear your own arrangements come to life but having the added bonus of a voice that compliments what you've written is purely glorious. As you'll hear in sections of just voice and piano, her voice duets perfectly with the timbre of the piano. For me to try and pick out my most treasured arrangement on this album is difficult as I love listening to them all, however, there are two that spring to mind as 'a little bit special'. Firstly, I adore Beyond the Sea for it's simplicity and Amanda's interpretation. Secondly, Nature Boy for it's chamber music like qualities throughout the first verse with voice, clarinet, cello and double bass all melding together to create a wonderfully rich dark tone. You'll also find a tag on the end of Nature Boy that I believe ties up the album with one last 'feel good' moment, the crux of the musical theatre genre. I am very proud to present to you 'Finding Wonderland' and hope that you have the same positive feelings as I when listening to it." -Glenn Hogue - July 2013
