ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
This album was part two of a series of albums entitled enchantment leads to nothing better to do than be enchanted. Enchantment was released only on the internet website madmenscalling.com in 2005 it is due to be re-released next month (April 2009) via download on the website.
As for Malik, he is currently working on a series of new projects entitled the Dead Medium Installation. It is a book of poems, monologues, dialogues, songs and prayers, it is in conjuction with a 70 minute movie and two albums one entitled Dead Mediums and another entitled You Know THe Escape, all of this should be available by mid fall 2009.

In the mean time please check out the hilarious new video Hoodoo Holler it is the first installment in Malik's series of short films involved in the Dead Mediums project. The film is available at http://video.aol.com/video-detail/hoodoo-holler/3964293189

the sum total of our collective nigga smile is the antithesis of his sorrow. there's lots of joy and fun(k) here... and no less critical substance. he's simply growing into a force the world will soon recognize as necessary, cuz he "gets it" just enough to let that go and grasp "Other". those who also get it reach beyond the beats for the index of b-boys who've considered beat poets when the boom bap wasn't enough. and some will just bob their headz... and the poetry here will serve as their shadow: syncronized, if a step outside of full illumination.
