Album Notes
NYC based group Amelia's Dream presents melodic and thoughtful pop with stand out female vocals and masterful productions. They are having great success with their independent release Love Tattoo which can heard on MTV, CBS, ESPN, The Lifetime Network and in Major and Independent Films.
Radio is also good to Amelia's Dream, where they have been in rotation on over 80 stations in the United States. The band has performed live on such shows as Woodstock's beloved WDST/Joyous Lake Sessions-the FM stomping ground for some of America's hottest new talent.
In addition to achieving rave reviews here in the U.S., Amelia's Dream is respected in Europe and in Asia, where they were recently featured on the cover of the Arts section in the popular China Times Weekly.
Hold on to your seats, because after a five year studio break, Amelia's Dream has a fresh crop of inspired songs and will hit you with a new CD later this year.

Collected Sounds

Nice recording
Gewirtz has a lovely voice that is reminiscent of Megan Slankard at times. Esepcially on "Ballerina". She has quite a range. From deep, low smooth sounds to strong gutsy higher notes. All performed with equal skill.

The songs are well written and are engaging.

The title says this CD is recorded live. But it sounds quite produced. So maybe by 'live', they mean that the tracks were not all recorded separately and many times over then mixed together, but rather all performed all together in one take. But it does not sound like a live recording in the traditional sense. There is no crowd noise and no between song banter.
