Album Notes
Amy’s music reflects her observations of the ups and downs of life. Lyrically the music comes from the heart. She claims that the truest song she ever wrote is “I Really Want Long Hair,” and yet the poignancy of “A Used Heart” speaks of her own experience of love and loss. Many of her songs reflect life experience - hers and others - from meeting her second granddaughter via the internet, “Clementine’s Lullaby,” to “Things Money Can’t Buy” which reflects on those things that are most important in life. Her lyrics are straightforward and her musical style is varied and creative. She has been coined as “our favorite female guitar player!”

Amy is a native Tennessean who claims Texas as her second home (she raised her family there) and now resides in Georgia. She is currently living in an historic folk Victorian home which she renovated and now enjoys spending time there writing and playing music!
