Album Notes
Amy McNally (also known as Amy McFiddler) is that chick in a skirt and no shoes who sits on the floor with a violin and a stash of Pixy Stix. Yeah, that one, with the hair. She's been hanging around jam circles like that for 12 years, and has been playing fiddle for over 24 years now. She plays with The Tooles, The Mad City Jug Band, Wild Mercy, and Play It With Moxie. Singing with Lady Mondegreen, performing guerrilla accompaniment, and on recordings with Seanan McGuire, Adam Selzer, and other assorted musicians and rogues, she does filk, folk, Celtic, and historical music.

You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll LOVE this album!
This album takes you through so many tempos and emotions from toe-tapping traditional fiddle, to George Gershwin's Summertime, to songs about moving and heartbreak, to love, finally bringing you back to boisterous singalong at the end. A fantastic album with a lot of heart not to mention extraordinary musicality!

My toes are tapping!
Amy plays fiddle like no one else. Some of these tunes are old Irish traditionals, some are Amy's own compositions. She's backed up by a bunch of OTHER really talented musicians, on everything from cello and harp to guitar and banjo. If you like Fiddle music, you'll like this.

Kryptonite for cranky babies!
Not only is this album a delight to listen to, but it soothes my (now 10-month-old) daughter to sleep. I call it her Kryptonite, because it's SO effective! Obviously the child has good taste.

Wow! What a Pleasure to Hear!
We just received this album as a gift, and it is one of the best albums we have in our very large collection. Amy McFiddler is, without doubt, one of the most talented fiddlers in multiple genres. My husband played this album at least 3 times the first afternoon it arrived! Thanks, Amy, for the great entertainment. When is Album #2 being released? We wantit!

What a Talent!
I just received this album as a gift, and am anxiously awaiting Amy McFiddler's next album. She is without doubt one of the best fiddlers I've heard in years! My husband played the album at least three times the first afternoon it arrived here. We're both completely hooked!
