ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
What a joyful journey it was to bring these songs out. The focus of this EP was to create songs that speak to the human experience, the trials and successes of a life well lived. This was a wonderful opportunity to get back to my roots and tell some stories that are important to me.

It was a thrill to work with the legendary Producer Doc Holiday and his A Team of top-notch musicians at the famed Quad Studios in Nashville.

Doc and his team bring a level of professionalism, artistic contribution and musicianship is that is unparrelled!

Enjoy the music!
Amy

Lights Are Always On In Nasville
If you like country music that's real country, in the spirit of Kitty Welles, Patsy Cline, & Loretta Lynn, and not the pop nonsense that has been emerging lately from "Music City" give Amy Otey a listen. She's not just good, she's DAMN GOOD! And the album is beautifully produced with some great pickers. I was very pleasantly surprised by this artist and this album. I highly recommend Amy and will certainly make every effort to see her in any live performances when she's touring in the tri-state area.

Mom & Dad get to have fun too!
What is so wonderful about the song "Date Night" is it's message that Mom & Dad enjoy each other! Here's a song that provides imagery of parents "havin' a little fun", "stealin' a kiss in the moonlight"! It's a great reminder for adults and an example for children on how to be a couple - it's not only about the kids, work, commitments, etc. That's a message that get's me wanting to "kick my heels up" with MY "favorite man"! Thank you Miss Amy!
