Cyputer Comborgs

by Anbot Rodroid

"uniquely skewed take on electronic pop...well-crafted and darkly melodic. In general, the music is a weird hybrid of soaring pop music and prog-like spaciness." --splendidezine.com

Album Notes
"Space pop structures are crafted with the experience of a man who's written literally hundreds of songs in the last decade, and the phantasy lyrics of giants, gnomes, and circuitous space beings are ever present. If Kraftwerk had spent more of the '80s skateboarding in California, this might be the result. But they'd have to hire the Syd Barrett of today to write lyrics this bent." --The Portland Mercury

"...uniquely skewed take on electronic pop..." --splendidezine.com

"...really enjoyed Anbot Rodroid! lots of great musical and lyrical witticisms and fun." --Moris Tepper (guitarist w/Captain Beefheart, Tom Waits, Frank Black, etc.)

Kicks several varieties of ass
The sound scapes are adventureous and nastalgic at the same time. Anbot envisions the future and references the past. The lyrics are light heartedly cynical...not like anything you've heard. This is music.

This album blows my brains out and sends them to outer space.
This album blows my brains out and sends them to outer space. I love Throbbing Gristle and Beefheert, but Anbot right up there. Songs about space, farmers, body parts, goats, underwear. Great, great! Love the lyrics, weird keyboards, major league drumming. When are these guys going on a world tour?
