ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
For her third album, the Brazilian singer Andreia Dias — an experimenter — recorded tracks in various studios with different bands all around her country: Belem, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador. It’s a multiple-personality record: rustic, electronic, kitschy, serious, lush, basic; it traffics in dub, marcha frevo, samba, neo-surf, slow and echoey garage-rock, even a kind of post-tropicalista electric blues. Holding it together is her voice and personality, bright and loopy and ready to mix it up.
