ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
'Scarlett Kissed A Sailor' is the second single from Andrew D. Huber's 'Mercury Gets A Moon', his fourth album and first to receive notable acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic.

The album is an acoustic-rock-celtic-folk hootenanny throw-down that showcases a sharp songwriting craft. Inspiring anthems, heart-wrenching ballads, celtic pop, foot-stomping boozers, and confessional lyrics lay side-by-side, successfully fighting each other for the best side of the bed. A noted concert and radio favorite, "Scarlett Kissed A Sailor" is a celtic-folk-pop gem that narrates a grand reclamation of a broken heart, taking the listener "up above the clouds" alongside the lyric.

The lead track is paired with the prayerful "What Am I To Do?" and a post-gig guitar and vocal take (the 'dockside mix') of 'Scarlett' that showcases the live presentation of the song.
