Andre White is a composer, producer, recording engineer, pianist, and drummer who works as an Associate Professor in Jazz Studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He has appeared as a sideman with many notable American and Canadian jazz greats including Benny Carter, Dizzy Gillespie, Steve Grossman, David Liebman, Gary Bartz, Junior Cook, Pepper Adams, Ben Monder, Tim Hagans, Sheila Jordan, Pat LaBarbera, Bobby Watson, Don Thompson, and Sonny Greenwich.
His Piano CD, "Luck," is his first as a pianist. He can also be heard as a drummer / leader on "Signal," on the Cornerstone label, featuring Ben Monder and Kirk MacDonald.
