ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"My vision is to perform my songs & share with others the healing,
comfort & joy that I’ve received from writing & playing them.” AM

A Brooklyn, NY, native, Andy’s passion for music goes back as far as he can remember. As a kid he sang in school glee clubs, around the campfire with his 7 siblings & later with other teens on Brooklyn street corners. At 16, he found his first guitar sticking out of a neighbor’s garbage can, replaced the 2 missing strings with fishing line & taught himself to play.
A professional musician for over 30 years in the NYC area, he played alto & tenor sax & guitar & sang background vocals in R&B, blues, rock, reggae, big bands &, yes, a few wedding bands.
Andy thought he couldn’t write songs because of dyslexia until his friend, Elliott, invited him to co-write one 10 years ago rekindling Andy’s fiery musical passion in it's newest form - songwriting.

With love, I dedicate this my 1st cd, to my beautiful late brothers, George & Nick Marino.
(I hear you guys - you’re always with me!)
