Album Notes
Andy Palmer's debut album 'Sometime Around' received rave reviews and 'best of Denver releases 2011'. Coming quickly on the heels of that album's success, Palmer has produced another gem for critical listeners with his lyrical prowess and unique blend of urban and rural subject matter and musical sensibilities.

Best Yet
With a throaty growl that softens to soar and hit the unexpected high notes Andy Palmer paints portraits of a ragtag cast of characters pulled right from the streets. Love the Monk. Hazard of the Die is clearly Palmer’s most polished work to date. He is a true poet troubadour, step aside Tom Waits, A Palmer is in the house! Check him out you won’t be disappointed.

I Really Dig This Album!
My interest in this album peeked when I read a review of it on Wildy's World blog. The review compared him to Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen- two people I love! Personally I agree with the review. What a great album! Check out the review for yourself at

Andy Palmer is a powerful voice emerging from an already impressive scene. His music is pure rock and passion. A beautiful juxtaposition of grunge and melody. Great album!

Hazard of the Die - Great Album Through and Through
I have been a big fan of Andy Palmer since I listened to his first album, Sometime Around. Denver has been producing some terrific singer/songwriter’s, and I feel pretty strongly that Andy Palmer will be a well know name here shortly. Palmer’s latest album Hazard of the Die is great, and shows progressions in both songwriting and instrumentals. The first track “The Monk” had me hooked from first listen. I love the instrumentals and the range of Palmer’s gritty voice as he hits those high notes mid-track. Can’t stop listening to this track! Every Denverite has some sort of Colfax Ave memory, and “Heart of Colfax” really sums them all up. The 3rd track “Broke Down in Bellevue” slows things down a bit, and speaks volumes to Palmer’s vocal abilities. His voice is pretty addictive. My second favorite track on the album has got to be “Moreya,” hard to explain but the song just speaks to me. All in all, just a great album, download it today - you won’t be disappointed. And if Andy is ever playing in your hometown, make sure to check him out!
