ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

This song is the Spanish version of the English song that is a companion to the popular picture book, "We Eat Food That's Fresh."

A whimsical chef introduces young children to fun food experiences that stir up their interest in fruits and vegetables. Join them as they pick from the garden, prepare in the kitchen, relax by the shore, and discover all of the different ways to eat healthy food. The chef wants the children to try something new, and they just might, before he’s through. Easy rhymes and repetitive verses are combined with deliciously colorful pastel illustrations.

This is a direct translation of the English version, which is award-winning!

With each page turn, the chef exposes children to new and wonderfully colorful fruits and vegetables. The phrase, "You might just want to try something NEW!" is a constant theme throughout, that children want to emulate.

If you don't like raw carrots, you can steam them, blend them, or even stir fry them Just try them a different way, and you might discover that you like them.
