Anita Jeter-Peterkin’s BIO

Anita Jeter-Peterkin is a mother, nana, Inspirational Speaker and the Author of “A Moment of Thoughts” and “Wrapped-N-Pink.” She’s also the Founder of The Wrapped-N-Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Organization, which is designed to bring breast cancer awareness and solutions to communities and businesses across the globe.

Wrapped-N-Pink also sponsors “Pink Me Up” days for survivors throughout the year. This allows survivors to have a day of fun with another two-three survivor’s, including Anita. The day may be consisted of a meal at a nice restaurant, the movies and/or a trip to the spa.

By the Grace of God, Anita has been victorious over breast cancer for 33 years. At the young age of 23, Anita was told by her doctors that she would probably not survive a year after her diagnosis. Although, Anita had to face her biggest fear of what many would call a death sentence, she leaned on God, her Faith, Trust and Hope to carry her through the storm.

After a few years of Anita’s recovery, she discovered how to turn a tragedy into a triumph and hit that curve ball out into the stratosphere. She began to share her story with others which led her to forming The Wrapped-N-Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Organization. Through the organization, Anita’s able to speak to groups about surviving breast cancer and how to follow their dreams when life throws them a curve ball or two. The organization allows Anita to facilitate workshops, which includes her one-woman monologue and/or a beaded necklace activity for participants. The necklace displays different sizes of lumps a woman may encounter during her self-exam.

Anita’s mission is to help women and men rediscover their dreams and live the life in which they are meant to live. Anita has also written about her journey of surviving breast cancer in her book “Wrapped-N-Pink.” Anita believes God has given her the ability to inspire and empower others to create their blueprint in life and transform into all in which they may want to be, especially when life has thrown them a curve ball or two.

Syreeta Streater This book/CD was awesome, inspiring, and captivating. Truly raw storytelling at it's best! Loved it!
Ruby Taylor Anita Jeter-Peterkin's book/CD Wrapped-N-Pink is inspiring, motivational because it's a true story by the author who actually survived breast cancer not once but twice. Her life written in her book (which I've purchased) has motivated me to continue my yearly ultrasound/mammogram because one never knows if it will happen to them. After reading Wraped-N-Pink, I purchased two additional books and gave them to friends who was later diagnosed with breast cancer and they are now cancer free. The book prompted me to encourage my daughters to see their gynecologist to have a mammogram done. I not only read the book twice but over and over again. WOMEN AND MEN SHOULD BUY THIS BOOK WRAPPED-N-PINK because one never knows.

Yvonne DaCosta Victim to Victory, tragic to triumphs & blues to blessed! Anita Jeter-Peterkin "Wrapped in Pink" is without a doubt a must read for the journey of survival of cancer!
