ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ann's third album paints portraits, brilliantly-colored and unexpected. She shows fleeting petals with roots in geologic time, and portrays the sorrows, triumphs, bewilderment of familiar but extraordinary folk. These stories of song fly you across the prairie and around the world.

Max G. Bunyan, Singer/Songwriter

I LOVED BLUE WILD INDIGO!
Ann is the consummate singer, songwriter, arranger and performer on Blue Wild Indigo. Life abounds and you breathe deeply in her music. The air is clean, and fresh and you are alive in your heart. Haunting and passionate is Blue Wild Indigo. Not Far Not Far From Emanuel captures another time and place that is equally near and far. Contrary to one of the lyrics in her delightful, If I Were Beautiful... BEAUTY IS ANN ZIMMERMAN'S FORTE. Her final offering, Lullabies is graceful and gentle, where your childlike memories are stirred and enriched, and comforted by her tapestry of sound. I LOVED BLUE WILD INDIGO! I believe that you will too.
