Song of the Night Owl

by Ann Badere-Santos

An eerie music about twilight in one hidden forest of fireflies and owl -- expressed with slight dissonance in piano, bite of bass, contrast and creepy synth, mixed all while sipping coffee in half cups…

Album Notes
I first composed it as a piano piece created purely by ear and then finalized with intended minimal instrumentation. It’s to allow the telltale owl (pun intended) to exploit this backdrop by hooting a modulated chant that gives NO cure if one aches to be soothed by a typical love birds' song. It was well-thought-out for a short piece though. Expect it to be melodic for its odd genre.
