Album Notes
Anne DeBrie is a singer, songwriter who's soulful voice is not only accomplished but versatile. Her vocal repertoire includes jazz, latin, reggae, country, gospel, blues, pop and anything else she finds intriguing. Her songwriting also portrays different styles according to the sentiment of the song at hand. Her love of musical expression is obvious in her charismatic and dynamic performance. She's warmed up for such acts as Tuck and Patti and performed on the same stage as Bonnie Raitt, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Question Mark & the Mysterians and performed for several years at The House of Blues in Los Angeles before settling down in Portland, Oregon. Anne performs with Conroy-DeBrie,
a popular trio in the Portland area, with her husband Dub and bassist Tony Conroy.

Some say her KANSAS CITY roots are showing when she digs into the jazz & blues arena but her wide repertoire reflects more of a coast to coast range!

Anne DeBrie is a very special talent who speaks to our hearts.
From the beginning of this CD my attention was drawn closer and closer to the music. Anne speaks to the heart through her singing style and this CD is subtle and refreshing. The final track AT LAST is the reason I purchased this CD in the first place and Anne DeBrie sets the new standard for master craftmanship in pop music. I highly recommend this CD to everyone who appreciates true vocal artistry.
