Album Notes
From a young age, music has been a major part of my life. Having been blind since birth, I have often referred to music as my "visual art." Some say I was singing Broadway tunes at age three, which is not too far from the truth. In fact, I have loved The Phantom Of the Opera since my sister and I started listening to it when I was five. Growing up Catholic, I have always loved the traditional sacred hymns, especially "Ave Maria" and "How Great Thou Art." Some of my musical influences include: Sandy Patti Kathleen Battle, and Celtic Woman. Over the years, I have been blessed with voice teachers and choral directors alike who have taught me the importance of versatility and singing with my whole being. .
