ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"A Handful of Memories" is an original improvisation I did on solo piano, and has a romantic feeling to it, evoking fond memories of the past.

I do hope that you enjoy i!. It's one of the most romantic pieces that I've done so far, with some more to come on my next album, to be released later this year.

Such style and panache
I had been eagerly awaiting this much heralded single by British pianist Annie Locke, and to my absolute joy I was not to be disappointed, A Handful of Memories literally made me tingle all over with an emotion that was so powerful, yet incredibly positive.
This is her first piece of original work of music since her album A Glimmer of Hope back in 2017, and there is an effervesce, a sparkling energy of excitement contained within the energy of this piece that for me, brings a happy smile to this old musical heart.
Locke’s performance is brimming with the confidence of a new era dawning, its full, and flourishing, but contains its ebullience within a well-structured narrative that is achieved with such style and panache, without doubt this is going to be a massive hit for the artist.
