Annie Locke is an award-winning composer. Her latest album for solo piano, "A Glimmer of Hope" has proved very popular and was nominated for Best New Artist by Enlightened Piano Radio and she played some of her music in an Awards concert at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall last October to much acclaim. The album currently has the record for the longest time period of sixteen months in the One World Radio Top 100 chart.

Her latest solo piano single, "A Handful of Memories", released in time for Valentine's Day this year, is proving highly popular and was no.1 in the Top 40 Singles Chart on One World Music Radio in March.

Annie's earlier relaxation albums, "The Living Earth", "Portraits" and "Memories" sold over 100,000 copies and "The Living Earth" reached the Top Ten on the Billboard New Age chart at that time.

Spanish Sojourn gets a bravo from me
Living where I do, in the very heart of the Mediterranean, this is right down my alley, and listening to this beautifully chilled offering, as I do now in 30c temperatures with the palm trees swaying against a backdrop of blues skies, it is simply perfection.
Annie Locke has created something here that anyone from the region, from Spain to Cyprus, would find appealing and very topical. The performances are sublime, with Annie Locke’s calming narrative on piano and Paul Landry’s scene setting acoustic guitar, all creating a wonderful pastiche of calm.
This has been released at the perfect time as summer has landed here in the Mediterranean; the soothing narrative is a perfect musical accompaniment to an afternoon in your favourite taverena sampling olives and village wine, simply blissful indeed, Spanish Sojourn gets a bravo from me.
