Album Notes
Annie Locke is an award-winning composer and performer, classically-trained and with a degree from the Royal Academy of Music, London.

"Annie's music has become popular with people of all ages and from all walks of life. The reasons for this are simple enough; her music touches the hearts of folk because she plays from the heart and wishes to help bring some sunshine and quiet into all our lives." (Francis O'Neill)

Her latest album of original pieces for solo piano, "A Glimmer of Hope" was well received and was nominated for Best New Artist by Enlightened Piano Radio. She played some of her music in an Awards concert at the world-famous Berlin Philharmonic Hall last October, to much acclaim. The album currently has the record for the longest time period of sixteen months in the One World Radio Top 100 chart. Her solo piano music is a cross between classical and new age.

Her first solo piano single of her own music, "A Handful of Memories", released in time for Valentine's Day this year, is proving highly popular and was no.1 in the Top 40 Singles Chart on One World Music Radio in March. The follow up to that, "A Tale of Love and Mystery", a single in a contemporary classical style, reached no. 2 in the same chart in September.

Her earlier three albums of relaxation music sold over 100000 copies when first released and of these, "The Living Earth" sold over 50000 and was in the Top 10 of Billboard magazine at that time.

Picturesque and stunning with every note played
This single comes at a really good time for me, I returned from a beautiful sea trip just the other day, and its images are still within my mind’s eye and even more so now that I sit here listening to this quite beautiful new single by Annie Locke, entitled An Ocean of Dreams.
Her performances over the last few months have been getting beautifully ambient and incredibly fluent, and this one is a fine example of that statement. Here is a composition that will sit with a friendly arm around your shoulder for its duration, it is as if you are floating on a lapis ocean with this being used as the soundtrack for the event, you really don’t get much better than this, and Oceans of Dreams is picturesque and simply stunning with every note played.
