Album Notes
Ann Marie Boyle grew up on the far southside of Chicago. Music has always been a part of her life; singing choral music, musical theater and eventually studying voice. She received a BA in music from DePaul University and a MM in early music vocal performance from the Early Music Institute at Indiana University. Most recently she is a soloist and guest conductor for Early Music Michigan in Kalamazoo as well as a private voice teacher and music instructor.

About this Project One of the main goals with writing these songs was to try and write interesting pop songs. Growing up I listened to the radio, my brothers' and sister's records as well as going to see my Dad perform with the Chicago Symphony Chorus. Eventually I went to concerts, music fests and all ages shows from classical to punk rock and everything in between. All of these music experiences influenced me as a person, a musician and here now as a songwriter. As a trained musician I spend all of my time singing other people's music-amazing music. So the idea of actually writing my own is quite intimidating. I have to say that I highly recommend diving in creatively. It is truly satisfying. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did writing and recording it. Thanks.
