Album Notes
Anthony Mulcahy comes from the small seaside village of Bonmahon in County Waterford, Ireland. He first picked up a guitar when he was 15 but didnt write his first song until he was 20 after a visit to a local songwriters club. Having played for many years all over Ireland Anthony decided in 2006 that it was time to take his music across the broad Atlantic to New York City. After the opportunity of playing at some of the cities most popular music venues he decided in 2009 that it was time to bring his songs to the studio and record an album. "Lazy Days" was released in Ireland on September 22nd, 2010 and in the US on October 15th.

In early 2011 Anthony took his band and sound in a new direction with the addition of cello player Barry Kornhouser and violin player Taryn Lounsbury. This became the backbone of the new songs which were being written and soon enough the next album was in full swing. In January 2012 the band stepped into Studio 76 in Brighton Beach New York where engineer and producer Brandon Wilde undertook the task of giving these songs their true colours. 15 months later "For My Sins" was born

Sweet tunes
I thoroughly enjoy listening to this album--well-balanced musically and lyrically. Mulcahy writes lyrics charged with nostalgia, tenderness, and hope, and sings and plays in kind. Guest vocals also outstanding.
