Album Notes
It’s in his genes. Born into an already musical family, Antoine JaQuard (whose birth name is Antoine JaQuard-Angle Dodson) has been electrifying audiences worldwide with his unique and passionate voice since the age of 4. These performances have taken him from The Apollo Theatre in New York (his segment helped the show to be nominated for an NAACP image award), to The Jenny Jones Show in Chicago and most recently back home to Virginia at the Ferguson Center for the Performing Arts.

Blessed with a four-octave range and the ability to capture any audience, Antoine has received praise and accolades from some of the biggest names in the music industry including Patti LaBelle, with whom he has shared the stage on numerous occasions. Studying briefly at the Berklee College of Music in Boston afforded him the opportunity to co-headline a concert at the Berklee Performance Center, which has drawn the likes of Quincy Jones and many other legendary artists.

As he prepares to take his career to new heights Antoine’s philosophy on music remains the same: “I sing to people. That’s people of all color, races, religions, and whatever other differences you can think of. Because when I’m onstage we’re all there to have a great time. I sing to inspire, to lift people up and bring them together. That’s what music is really all about. So who’s ready to get lifted?” Introducing…Antoine JaQuard
