ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Noone Lasses is Anton Emery's debut release, and is a mix of traditional and modern celtic tunes, all arranged for solo guitar. Produced by celtic guitarist Steve Baughman, and engineered by Acoustic Guitar Contributing Editor Doug Young, the disc contains some standards of the celtic repertoire as well as a good amount of obscure material. Anton keeps the groove going on a number of faster dance tunes, interspersed with a few slow airs, and a welsh bagpipe tune.

A long time participant in irish music sessions, Anton is thoroughly grounded in the traditions of the music, while at the same time giving a new voice to it on solo guitar. If you enjoy acoustic guitar music with a traditional sound you won't want to miss this cd.

Congrats to Anton
Very nicely produced and cleanly performed CD of Celtic traditional music, which will be enjoyed both by guitarists and by the general audience for "easy listening" music. Much of the Irish and Scottish dance music is very difficult to render on guitar, and Anton has met the challenge well.
