Album Notes
The New York Times says of their music, “Shimmering, expressive, powerful.” The New Yorker writes, “Lovely, comic, wistful.” Broadway legend, Donna McKechnie (A Chorus Line), adds, “Their intensely personal songs touch you in the most fundamental and human way.”

Singer-songwriters Anya Turner and Robert Grusecki will release their fifth studio recording, Labor Of Love, in March 2014. The piano-vocal duo is joined on eight of the twelve tracks by the versatile guitarist, John Putnam (Broadway’s Kinky Boots). Covering an eclectic mix of styles including pop, folk and jazz, the titles include the comic Fifty Is The New Twenty-Five, the biographical Paul and Janet (and like that . . .), the inspirational I Was Here (a birthday song), and the blues-inflected Harper Lee.
