ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
APERTURE TRIO

The APERTURE TRIO was spawned in Nova Scotia in August 2010. Canadian improvising artists Tena Palmer - voice, Arthur Bull - guitar/chromatic harmonica and Paul Cram - tenor sax and clarinet found themselves separately on the East Coast with a need to play. Their first meeting in a Dartmouth living-room became an exchange of stories, music and attitude that confirmed the need to continue.

SCULPIN UR002 is Aperture’s first CD and the second CD on Upstream Music’s new Undercurrent Recordings Label. The CD was recorded on September 30th, 2010 at Sonic Temple Studios in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The group is available for concerts world-wide providing there is sensible routing.
