Music that absorbs the listener
From the first listening I have continued to come back to this album eagerly. It Is worthy of an award of some kind without question. Consistently beautiful throughout, yet different from song to song. A particular pleasure is the way instruments emerge and retreat on the album, like they're peeking at the listener and enjoying being identified. Catchy tunes, but never commercial in flavour, this record pleases!
