Album Notes

Archeiro, the second album composed by the singer and composer Arnaldo Luis Miranda, was recorded in the cities of Nova Friburgo and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and it was mastered by SoundLab (USA).

Including 11 brand new songs and one re-recording (Amis de chambre) from the style of compositions this singer and composer who was born in Nova Friburgo (RJ) and settled in Rio de Janeiro city, the repertoire gathers blues and other carioca black music, in addition to other Brazilian rhythms.

Produced by Arnaldo, with the partnership of the pianist and arranger Anderson Erthal and the keyboard player and producer Tiquinho Santos, the album counts on the participation of important names from the Brazilian instrumental music such as Aldivas Ayres, Caio Marcio dos Santos, Edson Lobo, Jessé Sadoc, Kiko Continentino, Marcelo Martins, Marcio Malard and Ricardo Amado, added to talents from the country region of Rio de Janeiro such as the drummer Jouber Alves, the multi-instrumentalist Ney Velloso, the guitarist Giovanni Bizzotto and the bassman Marcio Klein, to whom the album was dedicated (in memoriam).

With the arrangements and piano of maestro Cristovão Bastos, metal arrangements of maestro Evaldo Santos and the special performance of the singer Marcela Mangabeira in the track O Canto da Sereia (Mermaid Song), the physical version of the Archeiro will start being distributed worldwide by CD Baby starting November 2013.
