Arthur James is an Acoustic Blues artist adept at drawing the listener into the world of a song. Whether an original composition or a cover song. Even an old rock or folk Chestnut. Arthur always finds the Blues roots of any song. Not content to just rehash old blues standards he draws inspiration from the challenge of adapting a song to fit into the construct of the Blues idiom. Always keeping one foot in the deep blues while striving to expand the listeners sensibilities. The fun is when someone goes that's not a blues song or that's not a blues group. Well it will be once Arthur gets ahold of it....
