Works of
The Istanbul Orchestra – TURQUOISE – Atilla Engin
All music composed and/or arranjed by Atilla Engin

The Istanbul Orchestra and the smaller group TURQUOISE alike, consist of brilliant-New York City Jazz-recording artists with multiple cultural backgrounds.
Atilla Engin who is the arranger-composer, conducter and percussionist himself, is also the founder of these two unique groups which brings large variety of eastern, middle-eastern influences into his music.
Ethnic World Jazz/Fusion he calls it.

“These two multinational-multicultural groups with divine impulses, will take you anywhere you want to be, by putting your imagination at work.
Their music will reiterate the long forgotten dreams, one once has had. It will reach deeper inside our senses and will refresh true, unpolluted feelings of humanity, which are being suppressed dramatically in today's world.
You hear the music and feel the texture of the nuances of life itself.

The diversity of a multi-cultural society is in a wave-length with the soul of a daring thinker! This unique match has the ability to present true, unedited, improvisational performances with passion...” says Atilla when he talks about the members of THE ISTANBUL ORCHESTRA and TURQUOISE which are some of the finest-improvisational godfathers of NYC with their unique style and creativity.
