ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From Barber’s immortal “Agnus Dei” to Thompson’s transcendent “Ye Shall Have a Song,” this collection from ASC celebrates the voice uplifted in song throughout the diverse medley of life’s experiences. Includes selections performed by ASC at the 2012 Southern Division ACDA Conference, and new settings of time-honored texts by composers such as Berg, Dickau, Henson, and Lawson, alongside choral favorites by Diemer, Hogan, Rachmaninoff, and Shaw/Parker.

Recorded 2012 at Schwartz Center for Performing Arts.
