ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This debut album by the Atlantic Guitar Quartet features world premiers of works written specifically for the quartet by Christopher Gainey, Ronald Pearl and David Smooke. In addition, this recording also features compositions by Olivier Bensa and Arvo Pärt.
The Atlantic Guitar Quartet is dedicated to the creation and promotion of music by living composers. Through virtuosic performances, innovative programming and collaborative projects with composers, dancers, choreographers, photographers, painters and filmmakers, AGQ continues to broaden the repertoire for - and the definition of - the classical guitar quartet.
