Album Notes
Atomic Bitch is the result of the synergy between two New Orleans transplants to the city of Los Angeles. Brad Davis and Ursulla Tadlock are the creative force behind the music and vision. Now back and better than ever their new record "PromNITE" is their 4th release in 5 years. If you loved "BodyShop" then this record will fall right into place. Just listen to what others have said about them in the States and around the world..

Here are some quotes collected about their last album " Body Shop"

I love Atomic Bitch! This one rocks the way I like it and I can't wait to get more on. RADIO MARABU GERMANY

A great Indie/Punk sound that compliments the voice of their wicked vocalist Ursulla Tadlock Apart from a great album you can´t fault the production either and if this is the last album you buy in 2006 make sure it´s this baby. (Top And Bottom) 9/10 stars DIY Steve FFruk magazine UK 2006

We really liked this album. It could have jumped straight out of a seventies punk time warp but it is a very good example of its genre and bears up well to repeated plays. The songs hang about in your head long after the CD has stopped and that is always a good sign. Like we said, there are plenty of radio friendly pop songs on display. That will do nicely, as they say! And whilst we remember, this album is best played loud. 2007 Scotland UK

Refreshing, high fashion, natural rock n roll sound Losing Today Milano, Italy 2006

Atomic Bitch
ATOMIC BITCH -- Tuneful self-released La.-via-L.A. band, led by a strong-voiced gal named Ursulla, plenty of glammy '80s Cali pop and glammy '80s Cali rock color in their sound (I liked the EP they put out in '06 too); not a lot of country on Promnite, but one of the best songs (at least partially about lemon merengue pie and getting tied up) is called "Hillbilly Swing," and it has a bit of a twang to it (along with some Bowie glam in the high notes), so that's a way in. I also like "Suspicious Hair Dryer," which is a good fuzzy dancey song (with some Blur or Pavement in its woo-hoos but not in a bad way) about a household appliance (possibly used as a weapon), with brand names (Maytag, Sunbeam) and pink hair curlers adding speficity. And in another song Ursulla shares a leather jacket with a boy, and in "Easy There Tiger" she tells a boy to slow down

BLues Bunny Review

BLUESBUNNY.COM (always getting it right:) Promnite is best enjoyed with a COORS
You think that people would have forgotten the eighties by now. Dodgy fashion, dodgy hair and dodgy music made it a decade best forgotten. Atomic Bitch (a duo made up of Ursulla and Brad D), however, will not let it fade away and have released an album that conjures up that hell of John Hughes\' movies that Bluesbunny had been trying to wipe from his memory.

Name checking brands of hairdryers as a commentary on consumerism? It certainly seemed that way after listening to \"Suspicious Hair Dryer\". \"Leather Jacket\" is an almost perfect pastiche of the \"bad boy\" theme so prevalent in the movies of that time period. You know the thing. From the wrong side of the tracks but love conquers all – in under 90 minutes too! The catchy title track, \"Prom Nite\", is so delightfully cheesy that you could eat it whilst \"Hillbilly Swing\" – the best song on the album in our humble opinion - has a snarling bit of attitude with Ursulla coming over like an all grown up Debbie Gibson suffering from a bit of trailer park isolation.

This band have managed to escalate the triviality of eighties music into something of an art form. The arrangements are uniformly -and deliberately bland – as so much of the chart music from that decade was. However, there is that knowing sense of humour displayed in the lyrics that brings a smile to your face as you recall those halcyon days. An affectionate pastiche, and quite entertaining at that, but perhaps a lot of people these days just won\'t get the joke. And that would be a shame.

DIY STEVE and FFUK review is in !!!!!!!!!!!!!
ATOMIC BITCH - Promnite: Hey! Hey! Hey! One of my favourite bands \'Atomic Bitch\' are back with a new album and I love it! There\'s nine tracks and I can safely say that I love them all. Despite Atomic Bitch being a two piece they\'ve managed to create a great sound for themselves that see\'s Brad and Ursulla blending elements of Punk, New Waves and Indie to give them that unique sound. Aside from the well played music see\'s the hot Ursula Tadlock delivering the vocals with style and what\'s more how you\'d expect from an experienced front person. Opening up with \'Suspicious Hair Dryer\' you\'re drawn in immediately and you can\'t help fall for tunes like \'What A Lifetime\', \'Easy That Tiger\', \'Promo Nite\' and \'Rock N\' Roll Highschool\'. Apart from a great album musically you also get a well packaged album cover and the CD itself is like a vinyl record. Top stuff from Ursulla and Brad here. 8.5/10

Just Plain Fun

I am totally digging the new album. It continues the AB rockin tradition from the first CD and is just plain fun. Great vocals and consistent sound
